Offered as a part of my downsizing,is my 1702 heavy barrel rifle.A seldom encountered chambering of a fun, little round,on the well known 54 action.
Since I purchased the rifle new in 2004,I had the opportunity to buy a marvelous Meistergrade quality take-off stock as an upgrade, making the gun all the more unique.Perfect grain flow, with figure that plays in the light, and feathercrotch highlights.I have also upgraded the action screws with a new set of J+P hex action screws.
The gun has been fired less than 200 rounds and presents as new with these exceptions: 1.A small rub on the top of the barrel where I failed to notice that a scope ao ring was touching.I have touched it up,it is not very noticeable and not visible when a scope is mounted, but it is there.2.If you must nitpick the stock, there are two flea bites in the finish.
I have the original manual with test target.I do not have the original box.
The buyer will have the option to buy my remaining stash of ammo,538 rounds, and a proper, new in the package,MWerks boreguide, for $100.
I will be happy to furnish additional photos.
