We offer you a “Reservation Gun”; no joking. This is a Savage model 99 EG in 300 Savage caliber. The gun is “NOT” drilled and tapped on top, so I would say late 1950’s gun. The only change as you can see is the addition of the tacks. The wood is excellent on the gun. There is no usual crack at the tang. However, the butt stock bolt is not with the rifle. That is the way we received it. There is a small crack on the forearm from one of the tacks. The metal finish is in very fine conditioning with some freckling on the bottom and left side of the receiver. No pad, not drilled and tapped, not even sling swivels ever added. $499 plus $45 shipping to your FFL dealer or valid C&R holder fully insured. And it will ship in a new hard case and UPS approved outer box that we have manufactured for us. The white in the markings is NOT paint.
