This S&W Model 19 was carried by a North Carolina Game Warden in the western N.C. mountaims. It was made in early 1978 and appears almost unfired with the original nickel finish and grips showing little wear. The bore is perfect and the recoil shield shows no sign of being fires. The cylinder is recessed and the barrel is pinned in place. The double action trigger is very, very smooth (professional trigger job?)and locks-up tightly. The single action action trigger pull is like an icicle brealing. The "combat" trigger has only light serretions and a semi-target hammer. This revolver's adjustable sights are the white outline rear and red ramp front ramp sight blade. I'd say that this Model 19 revolver is almost new and unfired as it appears but I do KNOW that that it was carried on duty. I can only say that it's ondition is 95+. The higher price is due to the age and the fact that it has the pinned and recessed features. This is a revolver that hasen't been made in 35 years and will never be made again.
