Gun is in excellent condition. Original finish is 98% with high polished. very good bore, good grips, 3.25'' barrel, Original F SERIES made in 1942. Brevet 9mm Corto Short .380. Original blue metal finish and metal reinforced textured plastic grips. Matching numbers including barrel. Inspection stamp of the 4th technical control unit, along with RE for Royal Army marking. Complete with one original factory magazine. Stampings on the left side of the slide. The metal finish shows wear and thinning with slight metal pitting common of the later war (1942) Beretta's POLISHED finish. Mechanically fine but NOT FIRED. The bore is clean and sharp, showing some light frost throughout. C&R/FFL.
According to Jan Still, "It is likely that 1934 Berettas captured by the occupying Germans from the Royal Italian armed forces were reissued to the occypying Germans."
