Price reduced to $700.00. Previously listed at $850.00
Shootable, accurate. Has rifling. All mechanisms work perfect. This is the short lever model used in the Zulu war. The bayonet and scabbard is included. Photo of advertising (not mine) on periodical depicts the $850 I paid for the rifle in 2006. The article depicts the rifle history. Added many more inside house photos for interested potential buyer. Also added more taken out side on deck. In house look better. The out side photos look to dark. However, the crown shows more on one outside picture. Shipping through UPS is an estimate. While it is a British military rifle, I am unaware where rifle was manufactured or assembled, or weather an English or colonial regiment used it or both. Some military rifles in later years were handed down to colonial regiments. This one seems to have been handed down to the Gurkha regiment in Nepal.
