First Generation Colt SAA that looks to be renickeled and engraved many years ago. It is believed that Lester Smith from Tennessee did the engraving but there are no signature or initials which I was told was way he did it. The engraving is beautiful and about 80 percent of gun is engraved. All serial numbers match and shows it was manufactured in 1916. The grips are faux ivory but looks good on this gun. I wish they were real of course if they were the gun would be worth alot more. I dont believe the barrel is original since single action army 45 is on left side of barrel and the frame was manufactured in 1916. However It is believed to be a first generation manufactured barrel after 1926. I was told that is when they started putting single action army 45 on the barrel. The rifling in the barrel is perfect and clean. The timing is perfect and mechanics are perfect. If you want to pay by paypal for security reasons then that will be fine.
