I am not an expert on the Lugers, they are a field on there own. Story goes this was brought back from WWII from a soldier that marched with General Patton thru Europe. First I want to mention there is something wrong with the cocking mechanism. I think it is just a broken spring. I took pictures of most all the markings.
There is no date. This is a four digit serial number pistol,1404, all numbers match. (not sure about the mag) There is a name written inside the holster, I can't make out what it says. Condition is evident in the photos, but it will look better in person. This is a 9mm.Includes the holster, two magazines, and the tool inside the holster. Bore is good. I have not cleaned this. It is as found. Have some other stuff from this gentlemans son. Check our other listings.
