Here is a very attractive and eminently serviceable Remington 870 Express Magnum with black synthetic stock and forend. This is a local one-owner, sparingly used 870 Magnum, note the rather mild operation marking on the magazine tube and slide arms, and only moderate brass streaking on the shell carrier. Buttstock matches the buttpad very well, no undue amounts of recoil in this shotgun’s history. Surface scouring or use evidence is only moderate, with faint whitening here and there and faint amounts of brown toning on the rear left area of the receiver and on the right forward area of that surface. We rate this shotgun as Very Good, close to excellent, finishwise since no more than 15 percent or so of its finish is affected by weathering and handling. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. Barrel is 28 inch Ventilated Rib, matte blue metal, with the original Modified Rem-Choke tube.
