Interested pre-turn of the century Flobert Cadet rifle in .32 cal. Muzzle measures .32 cal. This appearsa to be a .32 rim fire cartridge. Hammer is cocked back , and then falling block is pulled back and the hammer rests on the breech block as a safety while the chamber is loaded. Breech block is closed, and gun can then be fired. Total length is only 41 1/2" long, with a 27" barrel.Barrel bands are similar to a 19th century military rifle. Does have a simple iron cleaning rod. Wood is very good European walnut, and the medal is dark blue turned to brown mostly. Bore has good rifling , but has pits.WE SELL ALL GUNS WITH ONE PHOTO, OUR DESCRIPTIONS ARE ACCURATE.
