Description: This Revolver is Not C&R Eligible. Ever since the 1950s, our neighbors in Brazil have earned their stripes for expertise in handgun production. We have sold Taurus Revolver since the late 1960s with excellent service results, and their products have steadily improved in areas of fit, finish and innovation. Tauruses have always been rugged, reliable, and accurate. For the past five years, price inflation for Smith & Wesson have rendered Tauruses an even better buy; they are still underpriced. Here is Taurus's descendant of the Smith & Wesson 1977 .22/.32 Kit Gun, an improvement in several ways. Construction is entirely satin stainless; hammer and trigger are more traditional than the parent Model 63's on the market today. Both measure .350 width; trigger is smooth combat type and hammer is short serrated spur for an excellent balance between concealability and single action shooting. Sights are traditional red ramp front and white outline adjustable rear, low enough for concealment but visible enough for precision work at the firing range. Weight empty is 24 ounces of solid well balanced stainless, housed in a factory stippled combat finger groove flat rubber grip that yields a maximum overall height of 5 inches from the top of the rear sight to the butt of the rubber grip. For those who want maximized concealability, Hogue and Pachmayr both manufacture a variety of boot grips that will cut the height down to 4 inches. Action is traditional double and single action, and the Model 94 comes, like all Taurus Revolvers, with both a transfer bar internal safety device and the patented, unobtrusive Taurus hammer lock and two keys. Cylinder capacity is 9 rounds, and the Tauruses have sufficiently strong hammer strikes for failure-free shooting with hard Remington and CCI rimfire ammunition. While we respect CCI Stinger immensely, we have had excellent experience with Aguila Super Max, which outclasses the Stinger on ballistics. The only downside to the Tauruses is that their actions are stiff, and there is a limit to what can be done with them. Persons who want a handgun for home protection and target practice are better advised anyway to get a larger revolver; that is especially true for those with weak grasp capability. The Taurus .22's we have sold all range in the neighborhood of 15 pounds trigger pull on double action. Relatively stiff double action trigger pull is inherent in small handguns, and it is a plus for safety purposes in that it helps prevent premature firing. Finish on this Taurus is Satin Stainless, and the Taurus Ad Art photo is a bit misleading as it appears bright stainless. The Smith & Wesson competitors to this Taurus all price out from $600 to $800 apiece. Own one of these fine Taurus Model 94 .22 LR Steel Frame Stainless Revolvers, Taurus order number 2-940029, the one in the photo or one of its identical mates for only $ 349.00. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
