Description: From its single dot and 1970s style stamping on the main clip blade’s tang, this W.R. Case & Sons Folding Hunter Knife, numbered model 6265 Sab DR, was manufactured in 1979. The Model Number is on the tang of the secondary flesh blade. Overall length closed is 5 1/4 inches, and the blades both measure 4 3/4 inches from heel to point. Blades are Chrome Vanadium steel, not stainless, and they have yielded to extensive dark toning and spotting, but no outright pitting, as most all Van-Chro blades perform under use. This particular 6265 comes to us from a local retired hunter, and its surface detractions are moderate. Sharpening evidence is minimal, the owner knew how to sharpen a knife properly, on the bevel. Backspring strength is excellent. Handle panels, of course, are what Case always called Pakkawood, and all standard production Folding Hunters were so handled from the late 1960s until special editions began in production in the 1980s. We rate this Folder as Very Good, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Replacement pricing on a 6265 current production model is upwards of $100 in our area, if a person can even find one. We’re offering this very nice 1979 specimen, however, for only $ 39.00 We do not sell knives to civilians under 21 years of age. Most knives with blades over 3 inches are illegal to carry on Federal Property. All knives are illegal to transport on airlines. No shipments of knives with blades over 3 inches to civilians in New York unless we have a copy of your current New York hunting license. No knife shipments to civilians in Chicago, Puerto Rico, or New York City. Knoxville Tennessee residents must furnish Weapons Carry Permit for fixed blade hunting knives or copy of Police Commission Identification. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> $5.00 flat rate shipping lower 48 any number of small light items. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
