This is spectacular custom built (by hand, not machine) Remington 700 in 375 H&H Mag. It is approximately Circa 1994 and never scope mounted or fired except at the test range by the stock maker. The barreled action was obtained from the Remington Custom Shop. The stock was built from a AAA piece of English walnut with the grain especially selected for the recoil of this gun. My stock measurements are essentially standard. Its purpose was Kodiac Bear hunting, so the gun was ordered with open sites to use as back up in case of a scope failure. The stock building (from a blank) was done by Cliff Sticklested after his tenure at Dakota Arms as a custom stock maker. The finish is a 20+ coat London Oil finish.
