This Parker-Hale 1853 Enfield 3-Band Musket is in approximately 95% overall condition. It has fired very few blank charges and no loaded charges.
It was carried, by a friend of mine, for one season as a Confederate re-enactor. Neither of us are young anymore and I think the combination of long marches, wool coats and a full-size rifle was just too much. The rifle features are .577 Caliber with 39" tapered round barrel, blue steel, color-casehardened lock, oiled, walnut full-length stock with brass buttplate, front blade sight, rear ladder sight, barrel marked "PARKER HALE LTD. BIRMINGHAM ENGLAND". It has some minor handling marks and light scratches. There are bayonette marks on the muzzle. Bore is in excellent condition. The brass may be polished, but is in excellent condition. Please remit funds by Postal Money Order and add $25.00 shipping/insurance to continental U.S. NO TRADES, PLEASE!
