With the advent of the marking of the beginning of the 20th century wars, this piece of living history is sure to skyrocket in value. Plus, it is a great shooter, as range tested. Receiver clearly marked as being made in Remington Arms Company's Eddystone, Pa. Works. Barrel also marked "E" for Eddystone and dated "9-18". Made in time to get over there and take part in the "Great War". Sgt. Alvin York was carrying an Eddystone Enfield Rifle when he defeated and bagged a large number of German Soldiers and was awarded the MOH. The bore is strong and sharp. On the stock, the edges on the finger grooves and pistol grip are sharply defined. Some white grease shows on the extractor in the photo, as I range tested, then cleaned and lubed this rifle. More photos and details upon request. Three day, non-firing, no swap out return allowed.
