For your consideration, a German made Drilling in good condition for its age. No rust on any of the metal. There is no bluing if it ever had any. The stock has an orange peel to its finish. The forearm is in real nice shape. Has a weaver J4 scope. I know it is a 16ga x 16ga, but don't know what size rifle. It is marked 8.8mm, but it is more like the size of a 22 cal.
I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to drillings. It has the german markings stating since 1950's. It has a nitro stamping. One sight on the barrel, but no known makers mark that I can find. The alterations I can see that were done, the metal clip on the barrel to hold a strap was professionally removed and the clip on the stock was replaced with a smooth metal piece. Solid 26 3/4" rib barrel. Has a compass in the stock, don't know if that was original. Has the select switch on the side. Has cocking indicators. Has some engraving on the forearm and some on the receiver. Has a serial number. The scope was added to this rifle, fair job and the original rear site was removed. Still a nice piece to have for a collection. More pics upon request.
