Serial number on this Winchester model 94 Angle Eject Trapper is 6,010,000 range, and we estimate it was manufactured in the late 1980s. Barrel length, of course, is 16 inches and cartridge capacity is only 5 + 1. It is, as the photos show, an Angle Eject with receiver safety and drilled hammer. This specimen comes to us from the personal collection of one of our veteran Tennessippi Lawmen, and its surface detractions are only moderate. Buttstock has extensive moderate scouring on its left side, less extensive on the right side and on the forend. Few of the scuffs and scours penetrate the original semi-glossy finish. Wear indications to the bright blue metal are minimal, only faint whitening on the muzzle area and hammer edges. We rate this 94 Trapper as Very Good, close to Excellent; but photos should suffice for prospective owners to judge finish grade for themselves. It is certainly excellent mechanically; bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. Note that the rear sight has been replaced with a Wild West Guns black matte Ghost Ring peep sight, one that provides an excellent sighting picture with the original front blade.
