Here are surplus bayonet screws that we took off SKS type 56 Chinese Rifles during the late 1980s and early 1990s. Manufacturer was Jianshe Arsenal of the People’s Republic of China. Parent rifles were produced, from our records, from 1957 up until 1968 or 1969. These are, then Chicom, Chinese Communist Rifle parts. Construction is one piece slotted threaded steel. These screws will only fit Chinese Made type 56 Rifles. Most of ours were spike bayonets. ATF made us remove the bayonets in 1993, we assumed in order to prevent drive by stabbings. Finish is brushed or blasted surface blued steel. These screws came off of unissued rifles that we received from various importers, principally Navy Arms, in the early 1990s.
