Here is, for us, the solution to a chronic problem we’ve had supplying 10 shot magazines for the CZ75 and CZ85 pistols we sometimes get in abundance. This is Magnum Research / Israel Military Industries’ 10 shot magazine for their Baby Eagle Series pistols that are well made clones of the venerable CZ75. These magazines will fit any full size grip frame CZ75 clone, including the Baby Eagles, the E.A.A. Witness [variants made before 2005], and witness ancestors FIE TZ75 and Excam TA90 made in the 1980s and 1990s. Of course, these will fit the CZ75 and CZ85 full size pistols in 9mm caliber. These fine magazines will fit compact variants, but they will protrude from the grip frame on the Compacts. Manufacturer is Tisas, shorthand abbreviation for Trabzon, Turkey, Gun Industry Corporation. One of our photos shows the Tisas en-triangled logo. These are manufactured on Italian milling equipment, and we have had excellent experience with fit, finish, and function on Turkish made firearms and magazines over the past decade now. Mec-Gar’s influence is readily visible on this magazine. Importer is Magnum Research, known to most of us as the Desert Eagle Company. Construction is smooth bright blue finished steel, with steel spring and heavy duty black polymer extended floorplate and cartridge follower. This magazine holds a California Compliant 10 rounds of 9mm ammunition – 9mm Luger, 9mm Parabellum, 9x19, call it what you will, The 9mm. When we are in stock, buyers in jurisdictions where they are permitted may sub very similar Mec-Gar sixteen round magazines for the same price, Mec-Gar number CZ7516B. Buyers wanting to sub need to message us first so we can check stock on the sixteens. Replacement pricing on factory CZ ten rounders is upwards of $60 apiece in many areas.
