U.S. Springfield 1898 30-40 Krag - Sporterized, wood stock cut, attempt at checkering in grip area , buckhorn rear sight, soldered on front sight, 24" barrel , barrel appears to have been cut down and replaced as there are no markings on the barrel, proof mark on stock behind trigger guard and left side at receiver.
