Photo shows one of the first new Sig 226 9mm we've had in a couple of years. We were getting such a good steady supply of nice used ones, many that we planted here in West Tennessee in the 1980s and 1990s, that we didn't bother with new ones. Everything is different marketwise as we all realize. One thing is not different: Sig quality. Here is what the factory says: The Sig Sauer P226 is the pistol that set the standard by which all other combat handguns are measured. Designed as Sig entrant in the military trials to replace the 1911, today the P226 is in use by the U.S. Navy Seals, Federal agents, and numerous law enforcement agencies including the Texas Rangers, Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Michigan State Police to name a few. The exceptional ergonomics and balance make this full size pistol easy to handle. . . its longer barrel yields better ballistic performance and accuracy. We offer our amen and respect to the Sig. This specimen and its mates, #E26R-9-B, is furnished with two factory 15 round magazines. Classification is what S&W calls traditional double action, double action from the decocked position on the first shot, then single action on subsequent shots during the firing session. The Sig 226, of course, does not have a manually operated safety. It has a decocker lever to put the car in park. Sig has a firing pin block safety that prevents accidental discharge if the pistol is dropped, yet even with that, Sigs have the best single action trigger pull of all from the factory. Weight empty is 34 ounces; finish is black; barrel length is 4.40 inches; and it has the conventional white bar rear and white dot front sights. Accessory or light rail is incorporated with the frame. These are always point of aim from the factory. Sometimes operator adjustment is necessary, but rarely sight adjustment. Replacement price in our area on these fine pistols, if a person can even find one, is upwards of $1,000 apiece. We have information that Sig will be temporarily shipping for the unspecified near future with only one magazine; yet all three of ours that we had at press time had a total of two. We're offering these limited availability Sig 226 pistols, the finest a person can buy, each for only $ 719.95
For civilian buyers in jurisdictions where 15 round magazines are prohibited or restricted; e.g., Aurora IL, California, Chicago, Cleveland OH, Cincinnati, D. C. , Hawaii, Massachusetts, New York, Puerto Rico, or Toledo OH, buyer will receive two new Mec-Gar 10 round magazines instead of the Sig 15 rounders.

Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
GA Pay buyers are NOT charged until we confirm we have the item and are ready to ship it. The same thing is true for phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in payments. In this respect, and in several others, Guns America outshines all its competitors. This is the best firearms website there is, hands down.
