This is an "as new" 20 ga. Fox B. It has been fired VERY little, is as tight as a new gun with 99++ blueing and case hardening. When I bought it, someone had cut the stock to 8 inches! I have mounted a nice quality, classic style, round knob rear stock. It has been professionally mounted and inletted by master gunsmith Jerry Dawkins and an old English style, brown leather, decelerator recoil pad installed. The wood-to-metal fit is better than anything the factory could ever do. The gun functions beautifully, pulls up nicely, but the stock needs final sanding and finishing. I retired from college teaching in May and this was going to be my retirement project. I was offered a corporate position a month later and now have less time than before. The inletting and shaping is done (the hard part)and this will be a beautiful, classic looking 20 ga. double. I just don't have time to finish it. I have $600 in the gun, $350 in the wood and gunsmithing for mounting and fitting plus the recoil pad. (length of pull is a little over 13 5/8" but I have not added any spacers, which could be easily added) I know I'm going to take it in the shorts on this one, but make me a solid offer and we can come to an agreement. I have more pix; the GA website says they're too big to upload, but I can e-mail them. You may also request them from rbrienzo on aol.
Thanks for looking,
