Here is part of a trove we received from a retired police armorer. This is a complete blue trigger assembly, complete with strut, springs, pawl, and transfer bar, to fit Ruger Stainless Double Action Six Shot Revolvers chambered in .38 Special or .357 Magnum. Trigger is classic Security Six type, .350 service width with serrated face. Both manuals, the GP-100 and the Security- and Service-Six revolvers give the same number for the trigger guard, Ruger #E-3. Other parts included are KE-38 spring, KE-55 pin, KE-46 plunger; KE-28 pin, KE-39 Trigger, KE-37 Spring, KE-17 transfer bar, KE-32 pin, and KE-7 pawl. This assembly appears ready to drop in. Anyone attempting to use it, however, should first consult with a competent armorer or gunsmith. We are neither gunsmiths nor Competent. We classify this assembly as excellent, since operation marking and holster scouring are minimal; photos, however, should suffice for interested parties to judge finish grade for themselves.
