Heym Model 33 Deluxe scalloped boxlock drilling in 16/16/9.3x74R. Completed in 1985 as a special order with a host of upgrades, it remains unfired and pristine. A highlight is full-coverage engraving, including a Rungius-inspired moose on the left side of the action, ducks on the right and a whitetail bust on the bottom. All are surrounded by oak leaves and scroll, with the pattern extending onto the opening lever, tang, barrels, forend furniture and cartridge trap. The 25-inch barrels incorporate extractors, a raised rib with fixed bead, rear sight that automatically rises when cocked and claw mounts. Shotgun barrels gauge IC/IM and chambers are 2.75. Stocked in matching rich walnut with 26 LPI checkering, the straight comb butt has a beaded cheekpiece. Additional appointments include sling swivel loops, cocking indicators and extended ebony trigger guard. The 1.5-4x Schmidt & Bender scope has a dot/thin crosswire reticle. Weight (sans optic) is 8.2 pounds, LOP is 14.25, drops are 1.75 and 2.75. Test target shows a 3-shot, 100 meter group of 1.8 inch (certificate indicates group fired at 80 meters). Serial 51763. The drilling rests in a custom-fitted Huey oak and leather case with a full complement of accessories including silver snaps, oil bottle and patch holder. Screwdrivers and the rifle cleaning rod have ebony handles. The two-piece shotgun rod appears to be ebony or rosewood. A canvas field cover for the case adds a finishing touch. Owners initials appear on the grip cap and brass case medallion. The entire package is pristine in every respect. The price is firm and a detailed photo package will be provided upon request. Any reasonable layaway request will be considered.
