Description:
Rock Island Armory Model 1903. Made with a 24" barrel, refitted in a sporterized stock, and included with rings and a mount. Made in 1918. Despite its low serial number, the firearm is still safe to shoot. The recommended number should be above 286,510, with this rifle's serial number at 297019. Previously owned, in poor to fair condition. The barrel is in very rough shape, with numerous signs of pitting all over. The bore shows cracks and scratches, but does maintain most of its rifling. The receiver is in good shape with a decent amount of finish wear. The stock does not show much signs of wear. Does not include original box or papers.
