These grips descendants are still in production, available by special order from the factory, but the currently produced #70085 grips from Ruger have black laminate panels, not walnut like these Reagan era specimens. These grips will fit any Ruger GP-100 revolver, and also the Ruger Super Redhawk. They are in mint or near mint condition; as soon as the parent law enforcement agency issued their GP-100s, the officers and armorers replaced these with the Hogue Monogrips, which eventually won their place on the newly produced GP 100s and Redhawks. Early GP-100 Rugers are collectable, and these grips are period correct for any GP-100 with a serial number prefix of 170 through 174. Besides, like we’ve always said, they’re so ugly they’re cute.
