Here is Mossberg’s 590A1 Tactical in Kryptek® finish, with Heavy Barrel and Ghost Ring Sights. Manufacturer and warrantor is O.F. Mossberg & Sons of North Haven, CT. Construction is steel barrel, magazine tube, bolt, forend carriage assembly, trigger, and internal parts; with alloy receiver, safety, and trigger group assembly. Forend is full steel support serrated corn cob type. Barrel is heavy 18 1/2 inch, .930 OSD at the Muzzle, .10 wall thickness, and .730 vicinity Cylinder Bore. Sights are welded base steel front, with dovetailed red inlay blade; and receiver mounted wing protected, windage and elevation adjustable, Aperture, or Ghost Ring rear sight. All 12 and 20 gauge Mossberg receivers are drilled for Weaver #88 or 417 size optics bases or Mossberg 96200 rails for any Picatinny type light or optical device. Chambering is 2 3/4 inch or 3 inch 12 gauge shells interchangeably, with a magazine capacity of 5+1 on 2 3/4 inch, and 4 + 1 on 3 inch. 590 Magazines are open ended, readily accept magazine extensions. Forend is full length steel support serrated corn cob type. Safety is steel and alloy top tang type. Buttstock is Polymer with stippled laterals. Length of pull is 14 1/4 inches from the trigger face to the end of the 5/8 inch factory recoil pad. Drop is standard 1.5x2.5, with a 3/4 inch right hand cant. Buttstock has a steel QD sling stud, and magazine cap is threaded, but no forward stud included. Trigger is .275 steel smooth faced, pulls two stage at 7 pound vicinity with minimal felt creep and moderate overtravel. Weight empty is 6 pounds 12 ounces, center of gravity at the breech face. Overall length is 38 1/2 inches. Finish is entirely Kryptek Typhon snake pattern dip process, with exception of the matte black bolt, safety, trigger, slide arms, rear sight, and butt pad. This 590A1 and its mates come to us from Mossberg’s distribution system. We call them factory demos. They served light duty, likely with a sales rep or writer. Each one has the letter U stamped near its serial number. Surface detractions are minimal, only faint edge and operation wear. We rate them as Excellent, 90 percent vicinity by our estimate, but photos ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright and clean. We estimate these Mossberg were fired fewer than 20 times, if at all.
