This is a Russian model 1895 Nagant revolver. It has a 7-shot cylinder designed for the 7.62x38mm Nagant cartridge. This particular revolver was manufactured by the Izhmash plant in 1931. It is clean on the exterior, with good rifling, and the cylinder locks up tight. There are very faint wear marks on the frame forward of the cylinder compatible with slight holster wear, and the beginnings of a cylinder ring, but no other signs of wear. I have field-stripped and cleand it, but have not disassembled the frame to clean cosmoline out of the interior mechanisms. Comes with holster, cleaning rod, and 2-piece screwdriver.
