Here is Mossberg's Military Tactical 590 shotguns, their #50663 variant Model 590 Persuader. While this is not a restricted shotgun, Mossberg only supplies them through their law enforcement distribution channels, and we got this one from one of our distinguished local Sheriff's Sergeats. It has had a 4473 executed on it, but has never been fired since it left the factory in North Haven. It is the 50663 Parkerized 9 Shot Ghost Ring Sight variant with Accessory Lug and swivel posts. Chambering is for 2 3/4 inch or 3 inch shells; barrel is 20 inch cylinder bore; 8 +1 shot extended capacity magazine tube with mating barrel lug; all-weather synthetic stock and forend with swivel studs included. This shotgun has the conventional Mossberg tang safety, a definite plus for left-handed shooters and even a faster surer safety for stressful situations. These shotguns are not easy to come by, of course. Replacement pricing on these in our area, if a person can even find one, is $600 apiece or more.
