Browning Pump Shotgun is built on a 20 ga. BPS frame. It has been modified to make it the best it can be while retaining the factory action and trigger. It has a Decelerator recoil pad, replacing the factory plastic butt plate and fixing the LOP at 14.5". It has the optional 28" barrel, making it the same length as an O/U with 30" barrels. A mid-bead has been added to the rib to aid consistent head placement. It has a magazine cap weight, bringing the unloaded gun to about 8lbs, vs. about 7.5lbs with the factory cap (the factory magazine cap is included). The added weight is forward of the forearm, smoothing the swing and balancing the gun. It has a Briley skeet choke in addition to the factory IC, M and F chokes. All the modifications improve the gun for any sporting purpose, and field work, though I used it exclusively for skeet. The total replacement cost, new, is about $850. The gun is offered at $500. The gun is little used, having been fired in exactly 6 skeet tournaments (and one of those was a 50 target event, for a total of 550 registered targets) plus practice rounds. It comes in the original box, with everything that came with the gun from the factory, including the original literature, choke tool, and trigger lock. It has been professionally cleaned and lubricated in anticipation of sale, and not shot since. I really do mean "minor wear". Some would have listed it as "used, as new". The pictures don't do it justice: this is a handsome, very slick, very effective gun on a skeet range or in the field.
