Description:
We are offering a M1 Carbine INDLAND DIVISION Rifle chambered in .30 Caliber. This World War II field rifle is AMAZING! This is an early production rifle with its serial number placing its manufacture date between 1942 and 1943. This gun appears unrestored in original condition. It has wear consistent with age and field use. The stock is in great condition with no major flaws, some smaller dings, chips present from use. The stock features and Oval Sling Cut with the “Two Cannons” cartouche on the left side and the “P” on the heel of the grip. This gun features the early “High Wood” fore-end with Type 1 barrel band marked “U”. The sling swivel is a later Inland version marked “UI”. The 18” barrel is in original condition with some light wear. The muzzle is beautiful with a clean and shiny bore. The barrel is marked “Inland Mfg. Div.” and “General Motors”. This gun features a later version Inland division buttplate. There is an “IH” mark on the trigger grouping. The receiver features an Early Version flip peep sight.
