Serial# 146464, 22 S/L/LR caliber, 24" barrel, with a fair bore having soft, pitted rifling. The blued surfaces are about 95% with areas developing freckling on the old reblue. The wood has been redone in the past as well. The wood does not appear to be sanded because the wood to metal fit is very good. The factory markings are sharp. The stock, butt plate and forearm are very good with just a little wear. There is a little play in the forearm. The semi-buckhorn rear sight is very good, but the front sight has part of the blade missing. The action feeds and functions smoothly. Made in 1897. The overall condition of the gun is good to very good. Money order, certified check or personal check accepted with delayed shipping until check is cleared. No shipping to CA. I am a private collector, please examine pictures well and I can try to help explain anything further via email. I can take as many pictures needed for anyone to feel comfortable with the sale. I do not hold an FFL but I still would need a copy of your drivers license mailed with payment. This is an antique so I can send directly to your residence.
