It features a heavy 30" (1/2 octagon 1/2 round) Badger barrel, Browning rear soule sight and spirit level front sight. The Badger barrel has 8-groove right hand twist rifling with a 1:18 twist rate. Included is one rear sight eyecup with the aperture enlarged to 0.110”. I highly recommend purchasing a Hadley-style or Lyman-style selectable aperture eyecup with 10-32 threads. Also included are two rear sight mounting screws, 7 interchangeable front sight inserts and a set of Weaver scope bases to mount a modern scope if desired. The bases fit the factory holes and have been modified to match the barrel profile. The rifle will be shipped with a copy of the owner’s manual. The rifle was completely disassembled, checked out and cleaned. There were very little signs of wear. The chamber and bore are perfect. There are a couple of very light small scratches on the barrel and a couple of tiny “safe dings” on the wood. Hidden under the buttplate, are two 3/4" x 4” holes added for the installation of weights to reduce recoil. Miroku only manufactured the BPC rifles for Browning from 1996 thru 1998. This rifle was manufactured in 1998. It features the redesigned crown and extractor. On a very accurate postage scale, the rifle weighs 11 lbs 9 oz with the sights and the eyecup installed.
