These grips are nowhere near as prestigious as the original walnut factory grips, but nowhere nearly as expensive, either. Whatever Python a person has from 1985 and before, these are period correct. Pachmayr began inserting their Lion Logos some time around 1986 by our poor memory. These are little used, screw is bright and clean. They’ll also fit older Official Police and even Commandos from WWII, and the I Frame Trooper Mark III and older Trooper Revolvers. These grips don’t look bad at all, especially on Nickel Pythons.
