Tipping the scales at only 5 pounds 1 ounce, this NEF Pardner Single shot is chambered for 3 inch 12 gauge shells, and has a full choke that mikes at .697 muzzle diameter. Its 14 inch length of pull includes a pliable synthetic buttstock and full 1 inch recoil pad, better for magnums than their wood stocked H&R ancestors. The late owner of this shotgun equipped it with a bifocal-friendly green fiber optic front sight and sling swivel studs. Finish is blue steel barrel and matte parkerized receiver. Type, of course, is breech lever single shot with transfer bar safety mechanism. This shotgun is excellent throughout; that it has been fired very little is self-evident. Bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. We classify it as excellent finishwise, since no more than 10 percent of its surfaces show any handling evidence, but photos should enable our shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves.
