This is not C&R eligible. From its AA802000 Range serial number, this Rossi Model 68 Revolver was manufactured and imported by Mr. Sam Cummings’s Interarms Company in 1997, in the final days of Interarms’s corporate existence. The Model 68 Rossi was a staple of ours for almost 50 years, the immediate predecessor to the currently produced R351. Even though the Brazilian manufacturers borrowed directly from Smith & Wesson, the outlines and configuration of this revolver is more akin to the Colt Detective Special. This Rossi is composed entirely of blue steel, and weighs just 24 ounces empty. The weight, in conjunction with the combat factory rubber grips, makes it a manageable powerhouse. This is a locally owned civilian revolver from one of our neighbors in Lexington, Tennessee. Note the stretch marks at the top of the grips behind the hammer; apart from that, ts only surface detractions are faint amounts of edge whitening on the muzzle end of the barrel and here and there on its sharp edges. We rate it as a strong Very Good, close to Excellent, 85 percent vicinity by our estimate. Photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. It is excellent mechanically; bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. From its condition, from the absence of carbon deposits on the cylinder face and blast to the top strap, and from our knowledge of its exclusive retail owner, we estimate that this Rossi Model 68 has been fired fewer than 50 times. Replacement pricing on the Model 351 successor to this one is upwards of $400 in our area. We’re offering this classic Rossi 68, however, for only $ 269.00. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
