Here are Taurus’s original style magazines for their excellent model PT911 Compact, polymer framed pistols chambered in 9mm caliber. Manufacturer is Mec-Gar of Italy, under license of Forjas Taurus of Porto Alegre, Brazil. Importer is Taurus International of Miami. Construction is bright blue body finish steel, with steel spring, matching steel flat floorplate, and black polymer cartridge follower. Each magazine holds 10 rounds of 9mm caliber ammunition – 9mm Luger, 9mm Parabellum, 9x19 NATO, call it what you will, THE 9mm. Taurus factory number is simply 511101. This is one of three variants of factory magazines in production for the PT111 Tauruses; the 511101PRO is a ten rounder with polymer finger rest type floorplate, and the 511101PRO12 is a twelve rounder with finger rest. We attempt to stock all three, but these are scarce magazines. Usually they come in factory packaging, but frequently they come bulk packed in plastic bags. Sometimes we take the 10 rounders out of new PT111s headed to buyers where the twelves are civilian legal. As far as we know, the only difference between a Taurus PT111 and a PT111 Pro is the Pro variant’s finger rest type floorplate. Our single mag price is $49.00. Any magazine deliveries into New York City require written permission of the Police Commissioner, so we cannot ship magazines into any of the six boroughs or 176 some odd zip codes, per NYC Code 10-131.10. Civilian residents of New York State are legally enjoined from loading more than 7 rounds into any magazine.
