The Remington Model 11-48 is a semi-automatic shotgun manufactured by Remington Arms as the first of its "new generation" semi-automatics produced after World War II. Released as the replacement for the Remington Model 11, it was manufactured from 1949 to 1968 and was produced in 12, 16, 20 and 28 gauge and .410 variations. This shotgun is in overall good condition. Barrel and receiver finish are in good condition but pitting and rust is immediately obvious to the trained eye. The bore is mostly bright and clean. The stock and forearm are in OK condition as they show scratches and large wear marks but checkering is sharp. There are some large marks from use. Overall, this gun is showing its age. Action and safety function as intended. 28" barrel.
