This ANTIQUE rifle remains in very good condition with bayonet in scabbard. 32” barrel remains very good with original finish. Bore is clean with strong rifling. Original front blade and rear ladder sights intact. Receiver is very good, marked “CE.W.F.G. Steyr 1886” and “L.I” with crown. Barrel and receiver are marked with serial “FF28”. The bolt and bolt assembly are excellent but marked differently with “QQ239”. Bolt functions flawlessly. Original trigger guard is very good with surface wear. Original stock is very good with all correct cartouches. Stock is marked “FF28”. All barrel bands are correct and marked. Original cleaning rod intact. Original 1886 bayonet with scabbard included but marked with different serial number “CC865” and “CE WG”.
