This is a very clean Remington Rolling Block No. 4 rifle with octagon 22.5" barrel, take down feature and very good wood with lots of original finish. The metal is probably 90%, with some scattered patina type pitting on the barrel and receiver, but with strong case colors on the receiver. Bore is beautiful and the mechanics are fine. The wood has no splits or cracks. This is a fine example of the gun made from 1890 to 1933 (serial #159272 out of about 356,000). It is marked "22" on the barrel bottom and takes a .22 Long cartridge. We can take VISA or MasterCard for an additional 2% fee.
