HG3678 All of us were exceptionally busy after the 2008 elections. Some new folk even went into the Gun Manufacturing business in 2009, but did not weather the market hangover that set in about a year later. Here is a well constructed 1911 Government style, U.S. Made Pistol from a small failed company in the Memphis Area, C.O. Arms, also known as DGC Custom Gunsmithing. This is their OCON GI .45 variant in Stainless Steel. Frame is a stainless steel Domestic set of with traditional Double Diamond Rubber Grip Panels. Finish is type matte stainless frame with matching slide that is serrated fore and aft on the order of the Colt XSE. It has round black cleat-serrated B type mainspring housing and black matte standard grip safety. Main Safety is standard width ambidextrous black matte; and slide release is standard width cleated top stainless. Slide is DGC’s own production series 70 type without firing pin block. Barrel is 5 inch Government size 440 stainless match grade with match stainless bushing. Sights are dovetailed-in XS, V White Bar Rear and Oversize White Dot Front. Hammer is traditional Government type black .300 service width, with serrated spur area. Trigger is solid black steel serrated face with overtravel adjustment with stiff 7 pound gauge pull but with minimal felt creep. This pistol comes with an instruction manual, one year factory warranty statement (of questionable worth), fired brass case, two ACT-Mag Italian made 8 shot blue steel magazines, and hard case. Surface detractions to this pistol are minimal, principally milling and brushing unevenness to the forward section of the grip frame, with faint amounts of whitening to the trigger edges. It has never been transferred via 4473 form; it has been reworked by the only career gunsmith left in West Tennessee, and test fired 50 rounds. We rate it as Excellent in Box. Custom grade US Made .45s like this one normally command prices in excess of $1000.00 apiece. We’re offering this unique, distinctive and attractive C.O. Arms OD & Stainless 1911 for only $ 539.00. Not transferable to civilians in California, District of Columbia, or Massachusetts. Freight paid but no magazines for civilian buyers in New York City.

Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
