Very nice German Guild rifle chambered in 8x57 JS and barrel marked "Heinr, Raetz, Luneburg, Inh, Franz Karl". Octagon-to-round barrel 22 1/2" length with full length integral rib with matte textuer with integral sling swivel and low profile iron sights, sculpted horn grip cap and buttplate, double-set triggers, beautiful/intricately engraved receiver and floorplate, European walnut stock nicely checkered with 14 1/8" LOP to front trigger and 13 1/4" to rear trigger. Scope mounts included (pictured scope not included). Bolt knob appears to have been replaced (probably a butter knife handle originally) and gun has possibly been reblued (nice finish with some letters not perfectly crisp). All-in-all a very nice older rifle with great craftsmanship that is very difficult to find anymore.
Shipping is $40 (AK & HI may be additional charge).
I am a collector and shooter and am always looking for high grade rifles and shotguns (especially those from 1950-1980). I am trying to complete a Browning BBR collection with mint/NIB guns. I only sell guns that I have had my fun with or need to move to make a place for another acquisition. I am no longer a dealer and guns is my hobby and not my business. I am always interested in listening to offers or just sharing information.
