Richards Belgium ELG proof marked double barrel 10 gauge double hammer shotgun. It is in great condition with most of it's original brown finish. Marked on the locks W. Richards one tree proofmark is right side up and(one mark is upside down) I have been told this is highly unusual and very rare!, top of the 30 inch Damascus barrels is marked Laminated Steel. Nice engraving on some of the metal and remaining is a plum brown finish. Bore is average, a little gray. Stock is nicely grained with some checkering at the pistol grip and on the forend. Buttplate is cracked and missing the bottom third , action is tight, one hammer spring is weak. This is a better than average antique 10 gauge double barrel hammer type shotgun and will make a great reenactor piece or as a decorator. Pre 1898 no FFL needed. Can ship direct.
