No visiable SS# (therefore I assume this is a first year production gun) I bought this gun from the widow of a local collector who collected new in the box and unfired guns she said her husband bought this gun and it has not been out of their house in over 50 yrs. I bought this as an unfired gun (sorry no box or papers) and after careful inspection I believe it is unfired but if it has been fired I am sure it has been no more than a few shots. After closely inspecting this gun the only faluts I can find with it are a few handling marks, one at the rear of the receiver and under the knob that works the action and a few light dings on the stock (see photos). The gun came with a 1959 wholesale catatlong showing all the Winchesters made that year. The gun is fairly rare as it sold for $6.00 more than the clip fed gun ($57.45 vs $51.55) Satisfaction guarnteed. We trade guns. Cashiers check or money order only. Ship to FFL holder only.
