If you know custom gun work you know the renowned stock maker Joe Balickie. Joe retired about 14 years ago and is now selling a couple of his personal rifles. This one is his personal hunting gun. It was made on a pre-64, 1958, Winchester in 270. The barrel was built by Jim Biar. All metal work including complete bottom was done by Russ Holmes. It has a steel butt plate and grip cap and comes with a period Zeiss C6 in Conetrol rings. Included is Joe’s metal 2 gun case he used for air travel to numerous hunting locations. In addition it includes 100 hand loaded in virgin brass rounds. Joe loaded these for this rifle and says it covers the same hole at 100 yards.
