Born in Poland in 1910, Mr. Ben Milgrim immigrated to the US during World War I, and opened a Pawn Shop in his name in Joplin, Missouri, that served the good people of that area for 69 years. Mr. Ben was a life member, not only of the NRA and Joplin Pistol Club, but even more important a distinguished member of the Joplin Masonic Lodge, Elks Lodge, and UHC Congregation. This Colt Police Positive Revolver came from his estate. It was manufactured in 1914, from its 77000 range serial number. It has its original box; while the box is in poor condition, it still has its papers, its cleaning brush, and the original serial number correctly penciled on the bottom of the box. We believe this may very well be the first gun that Mr. Ben ever owned. Surface detractions are minimal; principally two or three small etchy areas around two of the cylinder chambers on the cylinder face, and a dozen or so tiny finish freckles, none of them anything near a pit. We rate this Colt as Excellent with Box; photos, however, ought to suffice for our shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. It is excellent mechanically; bore, cylinder chambers, and mechanism are all bright, tight, clean, and excellent. Construction is entirely blue steel; traditional early ancestor to the D Frame Double and Single Action Revolver; caliber .38 New Police or .38 S&W interchangeably. This Police Positive comes to us from one of our favorite Kansans, a career law enforcement officer. We’re offering this very attractive, historic early Colt D Frame 38 Special for only $ 839.00. Definitely C&R Eligible. C&R Handguns must transfer through an 01 or 02 dealer in the States of California, Delaware, and Maryland; and in the cities of Boston MA, Newark NJ, and Chicago IL. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> $10 lower 48; $30 Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico, USPS Priority Mail, insured with Delivery Confirmation. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
