LG2598 Here is a recently marketed variant of Century Arms' WASR Rifles, the GP 1975 Bullpup Variant chambered in 7.62 x 39 caliber. The receiver is stamped as manufactured by D.C. Industries in Minnesota, and marketed only by Century Arms. Metal is very nicely finished greenish tint parkerized, and the polymer housing, including forend, gas tube cover, buttstock, and pistol grip are all Tapco brand. The two original included magazines are Tapco 30 round polymer, but we are also including two Rumanian steel 30 shot magazines. Sights are two-aperture Ghost Ring rear, windage adjustable, with elevation adjustable post front. Weight is a manageable 7 pounds empty, and the gas operated system makes this one of the most pleasant shooting rifles in the world. Trigger is two stage, and the rifle has the conventional Kalashnikov receiver side safety that doubles as a dust cover. Barrel is 16 1/2 inches with addessory bracket and tapered partial muzzle brake. Overall length is 27 1/2 inches. Century Arms catalog number is RI-1420N. This is a local civilian own rifle with minimal surface detractions. There is faint whitening on its front sight edges, operation contact on its bolt handle, and faint disassembly streaking where the release lever pivots, and safety lever streaking. We rate it as Excellent, since no more than 5 to 10 percent of its surfaces are affected by our estimate. Photos, at any rate, ought to suffice for our distinguished shoppers to judge finish grade for themselves. It is excellent mechanically; bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. Replacement pricing on this rifle in our area is over $700 per unit, if a person can even find one. Don't let your buddies use your account. Registered user must be the buyer, with his or her own money. Buying firearms and related items for other people can result in felony charges. Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
