According to the Canfield book on US issued shotguns this gun is all original and correct. The plum colored S marked bayonet lug is correct for an original gun in this serial number range. The US Military markings and inspection marks are all correct. Note the correctly inletted rear sling swivel. This is a 12 gauge shotgun with a 2 and 3/4 inch chamber and 20 inch barrel with a cylinder bore choke. The length of pull measures 14 and 1/4 inches.
