Here is a very attractive, 'way above average complete set of 90% Silver Washington Quarter, 1932 through 1964. They are in a moderately worn deluxe grade Whitman Holder that is copyrighted 1960 and whose dates end with the 1960D. Since there were nine more slots, the collector filled the final spot with a 1965 clad quarter. A few of the specimens may have been cleaned, for example the 1932 Keys, 1934-D, 1937-S and 1939-S. These have, if that is true, developed toning since that time. Condition on the first page ranges from Very Good to About Uncirculated by our estimate. 1932, 1932-D, 1932-S, 1934-D, 1935-D, 1937-D, and 1940-D have wear to the motto, and some to the obverse rim. 1935 and 1940 are, by contrast, Extremely Fine to AU. On the second page, 1940-S to 1947-D, the collection is about half F/VF and about half XF / AU. 1940-S, 1941-D, 1941-S, 1942-D, 1943-S, 1944-S, and 1945-D will all only rate Fine, perhaps Very Fine by our estimate. 1941, 1943-D, 1944, 1945, 1946-D, and 1947-D all show mint luster. On the third page, 1949, 1950, 1950-S, 1951-S, 1952, 1953, and 1954-S are in the Very Fine range. 1952-S and 1954-D should rate Extremely Fine; and the other twelve show mint luster. On the fourth and final page, 1958-D, 1959-D, and 1962 are extremely Fine but may have been cleaned. The others of the final page show mint luster. We will try and include sufficient photos so that prospective buyers can at least check our grading.
