This is a CNC machined weaver / picatiny rail that will fit in and replace your factory rear sight in pistols with the oval style sight cut. Such guns as the Smith and Wesson 945-1 , 952-1, and some Wilson Combat model 1911 slides with the oval sight cut. It will not fit slides with a dovetail cut for the rear sight. This optic mount works perfectly with the Ultradot LT and Ultradot Pan AV red dot sights. It will also work with other Pan AV style clones and possibly other small weaver/picatiny style mountable red dots. The optic mount is precision CNC machined out of 6061-T6 aircraft grade aluminum and coated with black color Cerakote (a baked on ceramic based firearms coating which is EXTREMELY durable). Installation is easy and a mounting screw is included with the optic mount. Simply remove your factory rear sight and replace with this mount and you're all set to go! Red dot optics show in pictures not included. The mount is 2.25 inches long and securely fits into the oval cut in your pistols slide. This is a drop in mount but minor fitting may be required.
