LG1393 The Mossberg 590A1 and Special Purpose Shotguns have long established themselves as a staple in the small arms arsenals of our soldiers, sailors, and police officers. Here is the standard barreled configuration of the current production Mossberg 590 A1, the blue and anodized receiver 590, Mossberg Number 50665. Capacity is 8 + 1 on 2 3/4 inch shells, or 7 + 1 on 3 inch magnums. Barrel is 20 inch Police Cylinder with perforated Trench Gun type heat shield. Front sight is Hex based solid brass, threaded into place. Buttstock and forend are traditional serrated Corncob configuration forend with paneled-grip black buttstock that has a 1 inch smooth rubber recoil pad. Note the picatinny light or accessory rails on the forend. Both pieces are high impact polymer. Metal is water and sweat resistant military parkerized finish, with a black matte anodized finish to the lightweight alloy receiver. Safety, as the photos show, is traditional Mossberg top tang, polymer construction and user-friendly for southpaws. Buttstock is factory Mossberg Speed Feed synthetic, capable of holding 4 extra shells, and is marked speed feed on the end of its 1 inch recoil pad. This particular 590 was never out of Mossberg Corporate custody until we got it; it is one of their showgirls, has been displayed only at factory and distributor shows, and as a sales sample. Its only surface detractions are faint operation streaking to the double slide arms. We rate this 590 as Near Mint in box finishwise, but photos should suffice for prospective owners to judge finish grade for themselves. Weight empty is a surprisingly light 6 7/8 pounds. Magazine capacity is 8 + 1 on 2 3/4 inch shells, and 7+1 on 3 inch shells. This Mossberg is Excellent mechanically; bore, chamber, and mechanism are all bright, clean, and excellent. It has a six month factory warranty, papers come in its box. Current pricing on the descendant 590 is upwards of $600 apiece in our area; on Mossberg’s site, it’s priced at $586.00. We’re offering this one, however, for only $ 469.00. Not transferable to civilian residents of New York City, or any jurisdiction where pump shotguns with 8 round magazine capacity are restricted to Law Enforcement Only.

Don't try, either, to circumvent any law; for example, a California civilian may not buy a high capacity magazine and have it shipped to his brother-in-law in Nevada. That is a felony.
